I guess this means I’ll have to start watermarking my images. Every time I see a watermarked image, I think either “wow, if they’re that concerned about being ripped off they just shouldn’t be on the Internet” or “is that really necessary?” This is one of the second: it shouldn’t be, but after seeing how much attention this has gotten without being attributed, maybe it is. People! Pinterest and tumblr have click-through links and source links. USE THEM. Nice people like Emily shouldn’t have to use watermarks. They shouldn’t have to fight to tell people that the picture you just reblogged is actually something they put time and effort and brain power into. Make an effort to find the original source! Saying “found this on Google images” does not count. Ok, rant over. Thank you for listening.
